I loved Amelia Bedelia books when I was a young girl. She seemed to always get into the most ridiculous of situations, but you couldn't help but adore her! Now I have an 8-year-old daughter who is just starting to love reading, and I introduced her to the series. She loved every book she has read, and I usually never hear a peep from her as she snuggles into the couch for her reading.
A great addition to a homeschool or tutoring curriculum (or just a great way to pass the time and brush up on your reading skills), the Level 2 Readers by Peggy Parish are a delight! With so many in the series, it is hard to know where to start. Available at your local library, book store, or online at Amazon!
