It's hot outside, and probably a little warm inside. And while my tots are getting old enough to complain when it's too hot for comfort, my youngest is still far away from being able to let me know when he's uncomfortable. I love my child far too much to rely solely on the little sweat buds that form on the bridge of his cute button nose as my cue to kick the A/C up a notch -- so I was tickled to try out the grobag® egg™ from Keen Distribution!
This totally accurate digital thermometer is better than anything that hangs on your wall and attaches to your thermostat. It has design in mind with its cool, modern egg shape that matches any decor. Because it plugs into any standard outlet, you can take it wherever you need to keep an eye on the temp -- and the easy display lets you know exactly the temperature in the surrounding area. Too far away to catch the digital read out? You can see at a glance if its too cold, just right, or a bit on the stuffy side by the LED color glow coming from the egg! (Tip: This handy gizmo can double as a gentle night-light in any nursery or kid room, as well.)

The on-off button is easy to manage, and lets you decide when you really need it. I also got a kick out of the included guide that tells you the optimal dress code for the temperature (with handy reference to grobag gear that can ensure the right sleeper for the right night.)
Handy for winter, summer, and every day in-between, this is a brilliant piece of gear! My son can't sleep without his "glowing egg" turned on in his room every night, and I feel a bit better about the safety of my children in such adverse temperatures!
Check out the grobag® egg™ and the rest of the grobag® family at Keen Distribution!

I have seen this and think it looks awesome! Since my first baby is due in Nov and it's cold here in Iowa - this would be a wonderful addition to the nursery - I have no idea what temp to keep it around the new little one!
Oh how neat! I would love love love this. I have a three year old - who is just learning to tell me if he is cold/hot. But my one year old can't voice his opinion. And since we live in AK I am constanly worried if the house is to cold! This would be perfect.

I would love one of these. I am a warm person so I tend to let it get pretty cold in my house before I realize that it is cold and maybe my kids would enjoy thawing out a bit.
Oh my goodness this is the coolest thing I have seen in awhile. I would use this in my daughters room for sure.

This is so neat! I've never seen one of these before, but now that I have, I want one! Thanks for the chance to win!
I haven't had my baby yet so I don't know how I would use it but I know it will come in handy for a new paranoid mom like I will be!
rachel@daddyrich.net
I would use the grobag egg in my kids room. It would be nice to know that they are comfortable.
Very cool! I would use this in my kiddos room, looks like it would make a great night light too!
heatheranne99@hotmail.com
This would be awesome! I always wonder if it is too cold in my son's room at night, but he is only 9 months old, so he can't tell me! This would be a huge help! ~countrygirl1823@aol.com
This is so cool. I would use it in our new baby's room. I have no idea what temp is too hot or too cold because I am always too hot.
Thanks for having a great giveaway.
I would love to have this, then I can show my husband how hot it is in the house, and that he really needs to turn on the ac!!!
What a clever idea! I would use this to monitor the temps in the bedrooms because that part of the house seems to get a lot cooler than the main areas.
This is so cool. We are trying to watch our heating/cooling expense so this would be very helpful to have in the main rooms to see how well the air conditioner is working..and if we reall need to turn it on or not..lol. Thanks!
How neat...count me in!
angelina115@hotmail.com
I would put it in my son's room. He is 3 and a half and this would be a rally beneficial thing to have.
We have a Jan. baby coming, so in the baby's room!
I would use this in my son's room. It would be great to make sure he doesn't get too hot since he is sensitive to heat.
I would love to have this little egg for my son's bedroom. As a little guy I worry whether he is too cold or too hot. The egg would make it so much easier for me to regulate his room. thanks for the giveaway!
whitten100ATyahooDOTcom
This will go in my boys room. As the weather gets cooler it is always the coldest room in the house, I want to see how cold. Fyi they don't sleep in there when I feel its to cold.
cjinhb @msn.com
I am gonna be granny for the second time around in december. This would be wonderful for when I have to baby to keep the temperture where the baby needs it.
I would use this in my grandson's room.
this is awesome. i would use it my daughters room.

I would love to have this it would be a great addition to my room.
In my kids' room to make sure they stay comfortable.
Wow, really cool! Our first baby is due in November, so we could really put this to use!
saharagreen at gmail dot com
This would definately be in the kids room.
I would use this in the nursery. Thanks!
It's hot here, and I don't like the heat so I have a tendency to creep the thermostat down lower than we can really afford. I would use the little egg gizmo to save on the 'lectric bill, it being an independent thermometer. I never do trust the one on the a/c switch.
I'd use it in the baby's room - sometimes it's hard to decide if a blanket is necessary.
Oh I love this. I would have to keep it on the kitchen stove - it is so cute! It would tell me how hot the room is from my baking!
Oh, this would be wonderful! I have a decision crisis every bedtime: I never know whether to to have the ceiling fan on or off, or put my daughter's blanket on her or leave it off . . . It's so hard finding the balance between having them too warm or too chilly. I'd use this little egg to help me make those bedtime decision:)
belinda_streak(at)hotmail(dot)com
I would use this in the kids rooms , they seem to be much warmer than the rest of the house.
I'd put this in my son's room. He could learn about temperature and numbers with the cool thing!!
I would keep it in the baby's room to make sure it wasn't getting too hot/cold.
The temperature in my kids bedroom is always different than the rest of the house. I'd use this in their room.
gkstratos@yahoo.com
How cool is that? I would use this in my toddler's room. Thanks for the entry. charkey@sbcglobal.net
wow i love to win this thanks then i know if it too hot or cold in my kids room
in the attic
I would use this in the baby's room. Our house in on three different thermostats, so even when one room is a good temperature, another could be too cold.
michelle at northofthe49 dot com
I would send this to my sister for her little one's nursery. Due August 25th! www.kccpet.com click on contact
I would give it to a friend who is having there first baby! Would make such a neat baby shower gift for her.
samsakara@twcny.rr.com
I would put it in my kids' room. Our home is heated by a wood stove only, so this would be really handy to help us know when it's time to stoke the fire.
I would put mine in the kids' room
I love this idea! I would use this in my baby's room to make sure the temperature is just right. Thanks for offering this giveway.
I'd use it as a night light, and to visually check the temperature. Sounds like an awesome invention!
I think this would be great for letting me know when we're overdoing it on the thermostat and need to readjust. It could save $$ on electricity! Thanks.
the_other_alice_ (at) yahoo.com
I'd keep it in my room to make sure the temp stays constant
i'd give this to my sister who has 3 little ones. I know she would put these in the youngest's bedroom who is only 2. it could really help to see if something needs to be done.Thank you
denice p
doozercries@yahoo.com
this would be perfect in our newborns room
It definitely would be used to keep tabs on the temp in the nursery.
I'll take it room to room so I can enjoy it everywhere. What a fun item!
I'd use it as a really cute nightlight in my room,
i would use this in the den.
Oh wow!, this is so cool. I would love to win this. My husband tends to make me nutty with his constantly talking the weather so now I could keep up with him!
I would use this in my daughter's room. I love it freezing cold and she doesn't. It would help me make sure she's not uncomfortable
very neat! i'd use this in my son's room
Great giveaway! I hope i'm the lucky winner :)
I'd use it to monitor a kids' room.
I would give to my sister who's giving birth next month. She needs it for my little nephew. I don't want him to freeze. :)
applez_55@yahoo.com
My husband is a night sweater, so we have to keep the temp in our room colder then the rest of the house.
To keep the electric bills from eating our lunch we are still fiddling with the home's replaced central air system, vents, and room closures for infrequently used areas, but it's touch and go with home as old as my grandparents.
This little device would be immediately put to use mapping our families air and heat usage.
i'd keep it in the family room where everyone could see it
I would give it to my brother when his new baby is born. They live in Washington state with quick changing weather, I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
It's just too cute. I would use it in my youngest sons bedroom.
actsm@hotmail.com
I would use this in our nursery!
I have mine right next to me, however I'd love to get one for my ex, so when the girls are with him he knows the temp of their room. I get worried it's too cold where they sleep!
I'd use it in the baby's room and it would help in making sue the temp in there is comfy for the baby. The thermostat doesn't necessarily reflect the temps in the bedrooms because they're on a higher floor. This is great plus it's a cute little nightlight!
doot65{at}comcast[dot]net
Elizabeth
It's cute. I'd keep it in the family room and watch the temp dip as the winter nights begin to freeze. Not much longer...sigh.
mariettaseller(at)yahoo(dot)com
I'd keep it in our bedroom that we share with my 2 year old. I think it would be a neat way for her to learn when it's hot and cold and sometimes she wakes up scared because it's dark.
This is so cute! I'd put it in my son's room. Thank you!
My daughter's room as a night light
i like the idea of color change easier to keep an eye on
i would put it in the bedroom
My son would love this. What a great idea.
That is really cool. I've never seen one before. I live in Texas, so it's usually pretty warm outside and I'd love to have it in the nursery to make sure the AC is working properly! Our baby is due in September!
Such a fun and useful product-thank you for the heads up.ashlyn@chuparkoff.com
These are great! I would put it in my daughter's room. I need one of these!
way cool I'd use it in my new place to see how the weather is. I don't do well in cold weather. this would be nice to know when it is getting cool
I have seen these before and what a wonderful this would be to have. I'd use it to monitor the rooms on the other side of our house where the kids rooms are. The thermostat for our air conditioner I have had to question a few times because you can just feel the difference between one side and the other. It would be nice to know exactly what it is.
Our apartment has huge temp differences from room to room, so I could use this between our room and our toddler's room to find a good balance.
I would put this in my daughter's room.
stephanie_adkins@yahoo.com
I would definitely use this in the childrens' room. Great giveaway!
This would be fantastic! I would probably have to have it in my daughters room but Im sure with 3 children it would probably do a room hop :) Thank you for having this!
Thanks, I'd love this for my son's room!
i heart your giveaway! i would use it in my baby girl's room! thanks!

ryankristenwilson(at)msn(dot)com
I'm always worried that my little man is too cool when he sleeps...So everyone else in the house has to suffer through the night hot! It would be awesome to know the temperature in his room...It would really ease my mind, and everyone else in the house could stay comfortable! Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!
sblilly14(@)yahoo(.)com
These look so great! I would put it in my children's room to help keep tabs on the temp :) Thank you so much for the giveaway!
Nice for my three-season room.
This would be quite nice to put in our daughter's room, I never know if the temperature is good or not!
I would use this in my office, as I don't use too much energy heating or cooling. Or I might give it to my new baby niece. Thank you.
urchiken at gmail dot com
My baby girl's room is freezing in the winter, so we have a heater in there, that clearly doesn't show the correct temp. I would love to know the actual temp, so we can keep her safe and happy. Thanks for the chance!
dkkwhcs at yahoo dot com
I would love one of these
I'd keep it in the bedroom as one indicator on whether or not we need addtional cooling before bedtime
I would LOVE this for my daughter's room. I never know if she is hot or cold, or what. This would really help me out! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Heck I would use this for my room. I think it is cool as can be and pretty too!
Perfect idea - it's so easy to just glance in a darkened room and see if the tempature needs to be adjusted rather than try to sneek in without waking the baby up! Perfect for our nursery!
Tarah

I have seen these on the 'net before and they look so cool.
I would use it in my kids room just to make sure it's ok in there. Sometimes it gets so cold in there (draft from windows...sigh) and other times it can get so hot. This would keep their room at the right temperature because we'll be able to monitor it and adjust the heating/cooling accordingly.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
HunnyV "at" Optonline "dot" net
My daughter would love this in her room - and we could check whether to turn the air conditioning down here in the desert
fun. Thanks for the chance to win. Visit mine at www.mypreppypurse.blogspot.com
That is so cool. I would love to have one of these for my son's room. He only has one vent in there so it is hard to keep the temperature comfortable in there.
That's both cute and useful. It would be great as a nightlight in a kids room and you could be sure they were dressed properly for sleep.
i would put it inmy kids' room. i am always afraid it's too hot or cold in there so this would be perfect!
To check the temp in the room my grands sleep in while here.
I would take this to work. My office is so cold and maintance doesn't seem to believe me.
I would put this in my kids room.
As much as I would want to keep this, I would give it to my niece who is expecting soon.
purehrt555(AT)yahoo(DOT)com
This would be great for my kids room!
I would place it in my son's room, it would be great as a nightlight also! He'd love it!

I think this would be pretty cool just to look at :-) But as my son gets older I'm sure we'd use it as a teaching tool too.

I have never seen this product before, its so neat! I would love to win so I could use it in my daughers room. She's not big enough yet to let me know if she's hot or cold so it would be great! Thanks alot!
These are so cool! I've never seen them before. Ok, so my son is a teenager now and I don't think he would let me put it in his room, but I still love it and would put it in my own room or maybe the office to let me know if it's getting too warm for my computer LOL.
This is really cute :) We have a remote thermometer for inside and outside temperatures, but I have to go to the front door to check it. I could leave this right at my computer and keep an eye on things. *Thanks* for the giveaway!
ols[dot]moonmaiden[at]gmail[dot]com
This would likely end up in the nursery as a night light and because our in floor heating works better in some rooms than others. I have never seen these before.
owatz (AT) telus (DOT) net
All 4 of us sleep in the same room, so we could use it in there. I always wonder if my baby is too warm/too cold!

I would use in my daughters room to ensure she is comfortable!

Fun! I'd keep it in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The temperature is so different up there than downstairs.
what an awesome product! i'd keep it in my little man's room. somewhere i could just peek in and make sure he isn't roasting in there. some times he wakes up all sweaty and i don't feel hot at all.
alexandra dot hancock at gmail dot com
I'd use this in my daughter's room. We live in a bi-level house and her room is downstairs, and what feels good to hubby & I upstairs is probably a bit too chilly for her downstairs, at least when she wants to wear that frilly little nightgown. She never listens when I suggest she wear something warmer, but maybe she would listen to a glowing egg :)
Thank you for the very nifty giveaway!
I would use this in my bedroom - very neat
I have a four month old daughter and I constantly worry about how the temperature is for her. This would be a little peace of mind.
Very cute & Clever- I would put it in my little guys room- we like it cold that sometimes I forget he's just little and probably would like a little warmth. Thanks so much for the great giveaway!

kwade124@aol.com
I would use this in DDs room as it's hard to regulate the temp in there. they'd love that it lights up!
this is great! I can think of so many uses that would increase the comfort of the whole family!
I would use it to monitor the temp in my little ones room - I worry about her getting to hot or to cold!
This will be going in my daughter's room since her room is in the corner of the house and might be very cold while the rest of the house is warmer.
I could sure find a friend who'd like this!
With living in a old apartment we have a old thermostat and its hard to read the temp so I would use this in the living room to monitor the temp!
palmersf(at)bellsouth(dot)net
My son would love this as a nightlight.
would love for sons room
HMM that sounds cool! Or Hot? #3 is due in mere weeks so I could ue that in the nook in our bedroom where her crib will be.
In my daughters rooms for sure! IIn the summer I always worry its too hot and in the winter that its too cold. This is awesome!
ry13_2000@yahoo.com

triciabenac(at)yahoo(dot)com
I would put this in the girls room. There room tends to be colder than the rest of the house and I never know if they are comfortable in the winter and I'm always checking on them.
I would use it in the grandchildren's playroom.
I would put this in my sons room.We have a forced air furnace and his room is the closest, and if it gets too hot and dry his asthma flares up! This looks like a great product!
This is so cute, would make a great bed side decoration.
I would love to put this in my sons room!
I would use this to make sure it is not too cold for the grandbabies. I seem to like it colder in the house than most people. Thanks for the giveaway!

Cool thermometer would work well in the baby's room
I would give it to my friend to use in her nursery.

carissaad at aol dot com
Our house doesn't heat or cool evenly, so I could use a half dozen of these around the house as proof to my hubby that our heating/cooling system is out of whack!
This is great the temperature at a glance.
This would be very useful.Especially with the A/C on, I'm always afraid I 'm freezing everybody out. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would use it in my daughter's bedroom. Thanks so much for the opportunity.
planetmisty at gmail dot com
My sons share a room and often complain that it's too hot for them to sleep in there. So, I'd use this in their room to get a true gauge of the temperature at night. Also, they say they're too old for nightlights but the truth is, they want one! So, this would serve a double-purpose for them. Thanks for the contest!
I'd use it in the bedrooms at night.

I would love one of these...this way I can show my husband really how cold it is in the house...so he'll raise the a/c temp
That's a cool gadget.
Want the truth? I'll keep it for myself!
InternationalFreebies.net == internationalfreebies AT gmail DOT com
It's difficult for me to judge temperature in a room that I'm only in for a few minutes, so I'd use this in any room my baby is in that I'm not. That's usually going to be the nursery. Thanks for the great contest, and for educating me about this product. I have never seen this before.
This would definitely go in my sons room, I think sometimes his room is WAY too cold
Perfect for the baby's room...after all she has no way of telling us she is too cold or too hot unless she were to fuss. But them she seldom fusses and its more related to teething. This would be a great addition to her room because it also serves as a night light.
I would totally use this in my own room to regulate the temp.
txhottie_86@yahoo.com
Thanks for having a great giveaway.
I would give this to my granddaughter, enter me please.
This is SO cool. Great for those times when family members are arguing about how hot/cool it is.
What a great thing to put on the nighstand so you know in the morning how to prepare yourself for the temp..
Thanks...
i would use this in my sons room :)
This is AMAZING! YOU'RE amazing!
I'd use it to light up my baby's room at night!
irrelevantheart (at) gmail (dot) com ! Thank you!

Hello! I would use this Grobag Egg in my 4 month old daughters bedroom. I worry all the time that she is either too hot, or too cold, and wonder sometimes if I am being over protective. I think this is a fantastic product; since you asked how we would use it, I think that it would be great to have in my baby's room. They say that bright colors and nightlights help the baby's brain grow and help in the area of creativity.
Thanks! :D
