Our family had never experienced the Aquadoodle before this review. In fact, I'd always been a bit skeptical as to how well it really worked. This mama can rest easy knowing that it really as fabulous as it appears. (And my kids can attest to this!)The Draw and Doodle Mat by Aquadoodle is a roll-out mat that requires no assembly, and only a small amount of water in the "pen" to get started. We began our experience with my toddler dumping an entire cup of water on the mat (not part of the plan) and we immediately realized how this clever toy worked. Where the water goes, blue appears! It's all the fun of a marker, without the mess that inevitably gets all over kids' hands, faces, and clothing. We liked that we could use this toy on any surface without fear of messes. (Grandma liked this, too!)
The mat dries quickly, allowing for new doodles to be made soon after the first ones. Two kids can easily play together (althought they will need to learn to share the marker.) The mat dried well, and was rolled up for simple storage in minutes. Nothing to pack up or keep track of. Awesome!
