Review of Holgate Baby Blocks

We recently received this set of 6 wooden baby blocks to review. I was excited to try them, as we collect and use blocks daily in our baby and toddler play ... but would they be any different?

Surprisingly, they were! Holgate Baby Blocks from NMC Toys were the perfect size for my eager 20-month old. He stacked them easily, knocked them down, and started again. They were basic in their design (bright colors, familiar pictures) but there were a few things that really stood out:

• These blocks were made in the USA
• They were made from Hard Maple and the edges were really, really smooth
• The paint and all surfaces were non-toxic

No fear of recalls, and a sense of pride for supporting my country. This was a good idea.
