B.J.'s Wholesale Club is kicking off January with some amazing ways to save. Fitness equipment, musical instruments, TV's and stereo equipment are all marked down to help you meet those New Year's goals! They even offer instant savings promotions for their members for even more cost-cutting results. (And if you order online, shipping on many large items is included for free!)

Not sure if B.J.'s is right for you? Download a coupon for a free one-day pass. (The 15% surcharge on non-member purchases will be refunded to you on the cost of a membership if you decide to join!)

For more information, or to see if there is a club near you, visit BJ's website!

Wanna Win? We have a $25 B.J.'s gift card to give to one lucky reader! To be entered to win, just leave a comment with a savings tip! You have until January 27th at 11:59 pm CST to get your entries in, and you can enter every day! (Just comment as directed for your first entry, and for each entry after that, type "Today's Entry!")

  28. Unplug your small appliances when you aren't using them, and turn off your hot water heater at night. The water heater takes only 20-30 minutes to reheat the water. The energy its not spending keeping the water hot through the night makes a "reheating session" ultimately more cost effective than having it run all night, especially during the winter or for an uninsulated heater. (Try turning off the breaker to the heater, or looking for a switch on the heater itself.) These small changes will save you $20/month on your electricity bill, easy! :)

Unless your "regular" store is notoriously among the best, as far as regular prices/sales go, then you have to pick and choose each week. Unless, of course, you like paying retail. Which I don't.
