Remember Those Field Trips?

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Lunchables. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was just telling  my kids about my favorite field trip as a kid.  It was to our state capital, and I remember looking down from the top floor of the state building, thinking about how high up I was!  It was a special event, and I couldn't imagine not having had the chance to go.

Unfortunately, many kids are not getting the same field trip opportunities that we were granted as kids.  In fact, according to a report from the AASA, an estimated 56 percent more schools will be eliminating field trips over the course of the current school year.  Isn't that sad?

Lunchables Lunch Combinations is taking action to help prevent that number from getting so high.  They're awarding 50 classrooms an opportunity to go on enriching field trips, simply by being nominated and chosen through their Field Trips For All program!  It's simple to nominate a worthy classroom.  In fact, kids ages 6 and older can choose their own class!

Field trips don't have to be boring.  Check out this super-cool Alien Field trip.  (Wouldn't that be fun?)

Do you know of a classroom that deserves this award?  If so, we'd love to hear about it in the comments. (I think my niece and nephew's school could really use it!Don't forget to visit the official site to nominate a classroom today, and give them a chance to learn in a fun, hands-on environment!
