We Revisit Healthy Choice2:37 PM
Now that baby is born.. I'm hungry all the time. But, seriously, if I decided to eat all the things I thought about eating, I'd gain weight while nursing my baby -- rather than lose it.
Thankfully, there are options for my 5-6 small meals eating plan. The frozen convenience of Healthy Choice steaming entrées make it easy to pop one in the microwave and eat well while trying to meet a deadline, help the kids with their homework, or in between nursing frenzies. They have less than 300 calories each (except for the Sesame Glazed chicken - which has 320), but they have a good amount of protein, so they keep me going until my next meal. (They are also less expensive than their larger meals, which makes for good budgeting!)
I really enjoyed the Garlic Herb Shrimp because it had chunks of fresh-tasting asparagus in it! I also liked how the pasta cooked up (not too firm, not too mushy!) I'm not usually a whole-grain pasta fan, but they did it right in this dish.
