Review of Vidazorb Chewable Probiotics

Probiotics are a popular means of improving health.  We have been taking various forms of probiotics at my house for years, usually in a powder or pill form.  My preference is yogurt, but -- let's face it -- sometimes you just don't feel like eating yogurt (and it can be high in calories.)  We tried Vidazorb last month as a chewable alternative to other probiotic products.  In addition to being gluten, lactose, corn, and soy-free, it offers a quick way to get your probiotics on the go (no need for refrigerating yogurt on the road.)

The variety I sampled was the "Super C" formulation.  It combined the probiotic benefits of L. acidophilus, LA-5® (50 milligrams – approximating 5 billion CFU), Bifidobacterium, BB-12® (50 milligrams – approximating 5 billion CFU), Masquelier’s® OPC with Vitamin C.  The flavor was orange pineapple, but it really tasted a lot like a chalky vitamin c supplement.  (It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't delicious, either.)

The thing I liked best about this particular product was that it took away one pill I have to take each day, and I don't have to swallow.  Now, instead of taking a C chewable AND a probiotic 3 times a day, I just do the Vidazorb 3 times a day with meals.  There are 90 in a bottle, so one will last you all month!

Vidazorb also comes in Plus, Daily, and +OPC formulations.  Check the website for more details on each, as well as connect with them on Twitter!
