Review of Single Expressive™ Manual Breast Pump

As a nursing mom who travels quite a bit for my blogging business, it can be a hassle to lug along an electric pump.   (Plus, we have all heard horror stories of airport security not quite knowing what to do with these "gadgets.")  Luckily,  manual breast pumps are improving all the time, and I had the chance to try out one of the newest from a name we all trust in infant care: NUK!

The Single Expressive™ Manual Breast Pump, affordably priced at slightly less than $30, is available at Walmart, and is one of the most uncomplicated pumps I've tried in my 13 years of parenting.  First, there are very few parts, making it easy to clean and maintain.  Second, it's super easy to use from the get-go.  There's virtually no assembly required.

One thing that I really don't use, but would be convenient for a new mom, is the adjustable suction control.  If you are having a hard time finding just the right amount of suction, this pump can help you gently work your way into a mode that works for you.

This pump would be a great addition to your arsenal for occasional pumping or traveling.  (And no motor means no noise!)
