No one is perfect; and that includes my cell carrier. Without naming names, let's just say that I've had them for over 3 years because they had service for the phone I wanted, not necessarily because they earned my business.
As a rural cell phone user, my service can be spotty. This is odd to me, since I have cell towers within a couple of miles from my home. Why I get 4 bars on one day and 1 on another is quite the mystery, but it's something I've put up with to have the phone I need in life and business.

In fact, a study conducted by U.S. Cellular indicates that "43 percent of individuals are in the 'seven year itch' phase with their wireless provider, noting they are comfortable but suspect they are missing out on something better." 56 percent of the respondents said they were unhappy, while only 35 percent did something about it by switching carriers! That's crazy!
Why would these people settle for a less-than-amazing experience? Maybe they were attached to their phones, or maybe they feel it is too much trouble to switch carriers and sign a new contract.
