Walmart Layway is Back (and It's EARLY!)

10:29 PM

So many people were excited to hear that Walmart was bringing back layaway last year.  Well, they are doing it again, but this time, it's even better!

In addition to allowing Facebook fans early access to layaway (they can get an early invite from their local store's page), there are other great perks that rival last year's announcement.  They include:
  • The program is available through December 14th!
  • The season's hottest toys will be available even sooner to give you time to snag your favorite products and save for their purchase.
  • The fee for layaway is $15, but if you pay off your item in full, you'll get it all back on a Walmart gift card. (Last year, a $5 non-refundable fee applied.)
  • If you cancel your layaway, you won't get your $15 fee back, but there is no additional cancellation fee.  (Last year, there was an additional $10 fee.)
What items can you buy on layaway?  Electronics, toys, jewelry, small home appliances and select sporting goods such as basketball goals, trampolines and large exercise equipment are available for layaway at Walmart. Each item placed on layaway must be priced at least $15 or more, and the total basket must be at least $50.

Are you ready to shop now?  Remember, Facebook fans get EARLY access (2 extra days to shop!)  To get in on the early offer, Go to the My Local Walmart page for your store, click on Layaway Tab, and click "Sign Up Today" button on Layaway page.

You will be asked to  accept My Local Walmart application permissions and confirm your contact details.  Then, your Early Access Ticket will arrive via email, in time for you to print it out and take it to your store 2 days early!

Get all the details about Walmart's layaway before you shop, and let us know what you'll be saving up for this year!
