We try the Genie Bra

I am one of those moms who feels like she has always been wearing either a nursing bra or maternity bra for much of the last 10 years.  As a result, I get really creeped out by underwire or heavily-padded bras.  They don't feel natural, and if I can't work out AND sleep in it (if need be), it's not for me.

I tried the Genie Bra after seeing it on commercials, and wasn't really sure how it would be all that great.  It looks like a typical sports bra, so I figured it would act like one, as well.

The Genie Bra is a little difficult to get on the first time.  It's tight!  You have to order a size a bit larger than you normally would, but the fit is very good.  I like that it keeps "bulges" from showing due to "back fat", the shoulder straps are wide, and it comes with removable pads to help provide more coverage (which is essential for moms who have nursed a lot.)

The Genie Bra is very supportive, and yet breathable enough to sleep in if you need to.  I pretty much wear one 24/7 now, as it looks good under most shirts and is very versatile.  If you need to nurse, you can lift it up, too.  One thing I didn't know if I would like is the fact that the straps are not adjustable; after wearing it for awhile, however, I found out I didn't need to adjust it.  I'm short, however, so if you are very long in the torso, you may find it to be short.  Also, if you have a very short torso, the bra covers high on the chest.  It wouldn't be appropriate for lower-cut tops or even some of the more dramatic v-neck tees on the market.

If you're looking for cozy, full-coverage support, this is the bra.  I tried it in neutral colors and found it perfect for just about every occasion.  You can read more about the Genie Bra at their website and on Facebook, (and you may also want to check out their Slim and Tone leggings!)
