New Rachael Ray Cook-wear Really Cleans Up!

I have a lot of cookware in my kitchen, but I'm guilty of playing favorite with my frying pans.  They have to be the right size, get to the right temp, and have the right cooking surface for me to keep them on my stove at all times.  The new Rachael Ray Cookware I tested from Walmart met all my expectations -- and they look so cute, too!

First, Here are the two frying pans I received.  They have a nonstick surface, grippy handles, and a porcelain outer layer.  They heat up quickly, and wash up really well.  Here you can see my farm fresh eggs frying up nicely in them..And how they clean up with just a spatula!

I also tried out a few other items from the Rachael Ray line, including the Lazy Spoon, Garbage Bowl, and some funky new "Top This!" lids!

I use the garbage bowl for non meat or dairy scraps for my compost pile.  (The rest of the scraps usually go to the chickens or dogs.) The wide mouth makes it easy for the kids to peel carrots or potatoes directly over the bowl.

The Lazy Spoon is the perfect way to scoop up veggies from a stock pot or serve sauteed foods without extra oil.  And while I haven't used them much yet, the lids are really clever, in that they allow you to store foods in the fridge without plastic wrap or searching for the perfect lid.  You can put them on a variety of plates, dishes, and bowls -- and they wash up very well in soapy water.

I was very pleased with the quality of the items; I believe that they could last a long time -- and this is dependent on my family following directions for care for the products.  (I currently have to be very strict about how the kids treat my nonstick pans.  They wash them properly, but I am diligent to follow up and make sure they they only stack them with a potholder between them -- so as not to ruin the finish.)

The colors don't match my kitchen, but they are bold and beautiful (and there are many other colors available that would match).  You can find the items at your local Walmart store in the housewares section!
