No More Skipping Breakfast!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for belVita. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Since becoming pregnant, I have been very good about eating breakfast -- but things weren't always that way.  I used to skip the first meal, then snack on junk all day (much to my husband's disapproval.)  I actually started eating breakfast regularly when I discovered Belvita breakfast biscuits.  I thought they were the perfect addition to my busy day, and I loved them with coffee.

Now, Belvita has added a new product to their offerings, one that is just as delicious, and possibly even a better fit for me.  Belvita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits comes in two flavors that I tried: Oats & Chocolate and Mixed Berry.  I prefer the Chocolate (just because I love chocolate chip cookies), but both are super soft, full of grains, and and right size for a light but filling breakfast.

Having my breakfast worked out really helps free me up to deal with more pressing issues, which can relieve some of the stress I'm feeling as the kids start homeschool and I count down the weeks until baby arrives.  Here are some other ways to reduce stress in the home, compliments of
Lifestyle Mom, Dana Hilmer:

1. Before signing your kids up for this year’s after-school activities, think about your family’s priorities and the impact each activity will have on your schedules.
2. Take a little time each night to get organized for the following morning. By making lunches and selecting outfits before bed each night, you’ll free time each morning for other things.
3. Start a to-do list with three sections: the priority of the day for yourself, the priority of the day for your family and the priority of the day for your work. Start with these items, and only move on to other less important items once they’re done.
4. Use Sunday nights to plan your dinners each week. If you take a few minutes to think about how you can creatively use the leftovers from one night to the next, you can create a full week’s worth of healthy, tasty dinners that your family will enjoy.

What tips do you have for making the new back-to-school season a little less crazy?  Do you like easy options like Belvita Breakfast Biscuits to help you maintain leverage over your busy schedule?
