Review of Wonder Forge's New Frozen and Marvel Superheroes Matching Games

1:29 PM

Since the weather has warmed up, my kids have started playing so many more board games than they used to.  Maybe it's because there is nothing on TV, or maybe it's because they like to take their games outside on the front step.  Either way, it's nice to see them interacting with one another and teaching each other the often difficult lesson of good sportsmanship.

Wonder Forge is a brand that we have come to love for games that are great for young gamers.  They usually do a tie-in with some character branding, and this game review provided us with two matching games from shows my kids really love.  The first was Frozen, and it featured the very sturdy cards kids can place face-down, then take turns flipping over to make matches.  (I know you're familiar; we've all placed something similar as kids.)

Kids who have seen the movie will remember where the cards are, based on recognition from the film.  Kids who haven't will still enjoy remembering where they've seen the snowman, ice princess, and more.  The color of the cards is remarkable, and they are very, very durable.  (Something that's a necessity with 5 boys in the house.)

We also played the Marvel Matching Game, which had all the superheroes my kids love, like Hulk, Iron Man, and Spider-Man!  They play this game for almost a full hour at a time when they play.

The games are available at retailers nationwide, or visit their website for buying information.
