Easter Basket Ideas That are Sweet (but not Sugary)

If candy and sweets are not your idea of good Easter basket ingredients, you may be surprised to know that one of our favorite educational toys company, Educational Insights, has a few really adorable items that are perfect for this year's Easter basket!

We took a look at two top items and give them thumbs up for quality, usability, and adorableness..

The first is the GeoSafari® Jr. Bright Eyes Magnifier™, which is a cross between a magnifying glass and a flashlight.  Kids can discover just how amazing bugs, rocks, and even books can become with two sizes of magnifiers -- one in each owl eye!  The red LED lights make is easy to see stuff in the dark!  This requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), but it's durable and sturdy, and all of my boys have enjoyed dragging this around the house and yard.  Get it for $12.99 at the Educational Insights site

If playing games as a family is more your thing, you'll love the adorable spinner, baskets, eggs, and bunny grabber that comes in the Hoppy Floppy's Happy Hunt game!  This is super colorful, cheerful, and easy for little ones to master.

The game box is the play area, so you can keep track of the little "egg" playing pieces so much better than placing them on the table.

This cute game that helps with matching and motor skills is just $14.99 at the Educational Insights website!

Which toy is your favorite? Will the Easter Bunny be leaving either one for your kids this year?
