Celebrate Chinese New Year with All-New P.F. Chang's Menu!

11:06 PM

I am so loving all the fun things going on around Chinese New Year. I have no personal background with the holiday, but it is so fun to learn about! One aspect that has really won me over is the food. P.F. Chang's has made it easy to learn about this holiday -- and enjoy celebrating with friends and family -- via their new holiday menu!

Monday February 8th kicks-off the year of the Monkey, and you won't believe the mouth-watering stuff they are serving up.

Menu items include items that represent the luck of the new year like:
  • Sichuan Chili Garlic Chicken
  • Hong Kong Style Sea Bass
  • Long Life Noodles & Prawns
  • Butternut Squash Dumplings
  • Mandarin Cake
  • Monkey Mule
Just check out photos of our visit to the local restaurant in Omaha, NE. The Long Life Noodles & Prawns were our favorite! You can see that the prawns are HUGE. Our table was cozy and candlelit. Everything was so flavorful and decorated for the holiday!

There's more! P.F. Chang’s restaurants are hanging traditional Chinese red envelopes filled with free offers on trees near its restaurants. Five lucky winners across the country will open an envelope with free P.F. Chang’s for a year!

One other exciting piece of news is that the company will donate $1 (up to $100,000) to Boys & Girls Clubs of America each time someone shares their Chinese New Year wish on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #PFChangswish. They will also donate when a guest orders an item off the limited-time Chinese New Year menu.

Are you heading anywhere special for Chinese New Year? This Danish girl admits to not being the best Asian chef, so I was pleased to have a chance to try the new menu and enjoy what appears to be a fabulous holiday born of tradition and joy! Check out P.F. Chang's on Facebook to see what new things are happening at the location nearest you!

*I received a gift card to try the menu. Opinions are my own.
