Summer boredom has no place at my house! That's because we keep plenty of engaging and fun reads on hand for the kids to enjoy -- especially when it's too hot to go out! Just take a look at what Parragon sent us in July to keep the kids entertained:

Manny really adored this one. With lots of textures and pastel colors throughout, its a unique board book that he has so far enjoyed taking with him on car trips.
Not only are textures used, but words can be read to name them. Check out "fluffy"....

This Little Piggy: Finger Puppet Board Book
We have always really liked Parragon's finger puppet books, as well. This Little Learners book tells the infamous story of this little piggy! There is a hole in the back of the book for a grownup to put their finger, allowing the piggy to wiggle and move to the story!
Discovery Kids: Shark Factivity
Finally, there was a book included for the older kids. My boys love science, especially fossils and bones. This kit included a full-color book and a set of replica shark teeth that they could examine and learn about.
With over 400 facts to learn and know, it's a book that they won't finish any time soon, but the teeth really helped them to understand just how majestic these animals really are! Look how realistic the teeth are!
