Giving My Appliances an Anti-Bacterial Clean with Mean Green

*I'm sharing some great home, garden, and farm tips with the help of Mean Green. They have sponsored this series and provided samples to try, but I've been a big fan for years. Opinions are my own.

If you take a look around my kitchen, you will notice lots of appliances. We use slow cookers, toasters, blenders, breakfast sandwich makers, coffee makers, mixers, and so many more -- on a weekly and even a daily basis! And while components of some of these do get cleaned in hot soapy water after each use, so many of the exterior portions can not be submerged in water.

If any part of my appliances that do not come into contact with food do start to look icky, that's where I'm happy to use Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi-Surface Cleaner!  It cuts grease and grime and kills 99.9% of germs. That means that I only have to focus on the food inside my slow cooker, but never have to deal with any gross residue that may be hanging around on the outside!

Just a little Mean Green on a warm dishrag, and my slow cooker is back to almost new! Stuck on food comes right off, which is awesome, because I really don't have time for anything else.

Yes, this is gross.

2 minutes to almost good as new!
So now that you know how easy it is to cut grease and dirt and kill nasty germs that can cause influenza A, why don't you schedule a mid-summer "spring clean" for your appliances? Mean Green is safe for most surfaces (but testing a small portion of your appliance can put your mind at ease.) You can use it once a  month or when needed to maintain a sparkly shine and germ-free surfaces. Since I touch the buttons on my slow cooker a lot, it makes me feel better to know that crusty food or icky germs won't be waiting for me there.

I'm also a huge fan of how well this product deodorizes. You instantly get a pleasant lemon-smelling effect with just one spray!
