I knew each of my children's names while they were still in the womb. We prayerfully considered each one before they were born. My boys were all named after people in the Bible, and we picked "M" names for each one (and "J" names for the middle names.) Micah's name gift has the look of an old time map, with scrolly text. He really enjoyed receiving it and mentioned that it reminded him of pirates! He has it proudly displayed in his room. I wish I could get one for each of the boys, so I plan on making it a "rite of passage" that they each receive on on their 13th birthday (or another special event.)
