Love Your Little Golden Books? Kohl's Cares for Kids Brings Them Back! (Giveaway) {EXPIRED}

If you grew up in the 70's and 80's, I know that the pictures below will look familiar to you. That's because most Gen-Xer's had a mad stash of Little Golden books on their shelves and they were one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. I always keep my eye out for old copies of some of these classics when I'm at garage sales, but they are usually in too poor shape to share with my now, very active kids.

I have super good news on how this is no longer an issue! Kohl's has launched their latest Cares for Kids campaign, and the merchandise is all in the spirit of the original Little Golden Books! They sent us some of the plush and the books to review*, and I am so very, very impressed with them!

Each high-quality, hardcover book features not one, but three separate stories bringing together some of Golden Books most beloved tales and some new ones, too!

The summer collection includes:
  • 3 in 1 book collection featuring The Poky Little Puppy with puppy plush
  • 3 in 1 book collection featuring The Shy Little Kitten with kitten plush
  • 3 in 1 book collection featuring Tawny Scrawny Lion with lion plush
  • 3 in 1 book collection featuring The Saggy Baggy Elephant and Scuffy the Tugboat with elephant and tugboat plush

That's not all! The Classic Fairy Tales Collection features some of the best classic fairy tales in one book. Included are: The Three Little Pigs, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, and The Gingerbread Man.

Finally, this is one that I really adore. The Everything I Need to Know I learned from a Little Golden Book title brings together some of the best memories for those of us who grew up loving the brand of stories. I think all grown-ups who grew up reading should pick up one of these!

The Kohl’s Cares collection is available at all Kohl’s stores and on Kohls.com now through early July. Prices are so reasonable, so you can pick up one, two, or more items to save for birthdays and holidays -- or give them to your kids for a fun summer reading option.

To date, Kohl's has raised more than $317 million through the Kohl’s Cares merchandise program. To reinforce the company’s commitment to children and families, and with your help, Kohl’s has provided financial support to hospitals across the country. The donations fund hospital outreach programs focused on children’s health initiatives and address the specific issues needed most in each hospital’s community.

Wanna win? We are giving one lucky reader a prize pack of two randomly selected books and 2 randomly selected plush toys from the collection. Enter below using our form by May 10th at 11:59 pm EST. Open to U.S. residents only.
