It's hot out! But that doesn't stop my family from doing all the things that we are accustomed to doing each summer. While many families are headed off on vacation, playing ball, and relaxing, we have a lot of work to do. Living on a farm just makes it that way, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
What sort of activities do we do this time of year? There are many. All of them involve working in the heat of the day, so it's important to have some cold tea on hand. That's why I was super excited to partner with my favorite tea brand Snapple and my favorite retailer Walmart, to bring you this sponsored post.
My favorite activities include:
Putting up the pool. We have no swimming hole here, so we put up our own each June. (The kids help!)
Planting flowers. And more flowers. And veggies. A garden is necessary for the food we'll eat all winter long. And everything just looks more beautiful with bright and colorful blooms!
Getting spring babies out into the world. New chickens that started as balls of fluff a few weeks ago are now big enough to be outside in their own movable chicken runs. We work hard to build them homes that offer freedom and safety.

This delicious, fruity, and refreshing drink features both black and green teas, and a pretty kickin' mango profile! You can get the bottles in 6 or 12-packs at select Walmarts! I found my Snapple in the soft drink and water aisle, but some stores may have special displays or endcaps with the product. (Just ask a friendly Walmart associate if you can't find it.)
