Thanks to Water Wubble® for sponsoring this review. Opinions are our own.

It is hot! It was over 98 degrees here yesterday, and after my boys are done with their morning chores, they just want to be lazy in the house all day. We even set up a small above-ground pool for them, but getting them out there was tough.

Then, we received a set of the new Water Wubble® to review, and these boys really took their pool play to the next level. We are a water balloon family, but I hate the expense of replacing balloons and the mess of cleaning up all the little broken ones from the yard.

Will Water Wubble® be just as fun? I was excited to see if these large, reusable water toys would capture my boys' attention for very long.

We opened the box, and I noticed right away that there were more than enough to go around between all of my boys. There were 4 each of two colors: red and blue. While my boys rarely play "teams", it was good to have as an option if they wanted to.

How do these fill up? It was super simple. Put the Water Wubble under the surface of the pool water, hold open the little hole, and allow it to fill. You can use these with the stem inside the balloon (as we did) or pull the stem out and use it as a sort of handle.

We decided against using the stem outside the Wubbles, as my boys were throwing them a bit too hard and they were ending up outside of the pool too often.

These kids had a blast all of the first afternoon we used them. They are easy to clean up (just squeeze out the water and return them to a bag or box.) We took them out again for the next three days. My boys are actually really excited for their pool time now! This Water Wubble review saved our summer!

While we used this in a pool, you can also fill them with a hose, a water bottle, or by dunking in a bucket. They can be used over and over again for hundreds of times! They are a very affordable way to enjoy water balloon ball fun and the only refillable, self-sealing water balloon ball on the market!

  1. This looks like so much fun! I've been avoiding disposable water balloons because of the mess, so these look like a great, long-lasting alternative!
