The toe-tapping, heart-warming antics of the Trolls movie is now here for your home, as Netflix releases the highly-anticipated DreamWorks Animation Studios family series Trolls: The Beat Goes On today!
I was so excited to be invited to attend a Blogger Day at DreamWorks last December, and I was able to screen an episode and speak to the talent behind this incredibly powerful and positive series.
If you saw and loved the movie, you'll be happy to know that the series picks up where the film left off. If you didn't see the film, it's OK! You'll still love the amazing themes of friendship, accountability, love, and acceptance.
The series features compositions by acclaimed songwriter and producer Alana Da Fonseca (the Pitch Perfect films, Alvin and the Chipmunks) as well as the voice talents of Amanda Leighton, Skylar Astin, Ron Funches, Gary Cole, David Koechner, and others. All six episodes of this animated wonder can be watched right now!
Here's a clip of the show. I highly recommend watching as a family, only because there are so many values-based discussions you can have with your kids when you're done. It's also very light and funny. I cracked up at several of the jokes in just the first episodes I watched!
