Take the Garage Door Safety Quiz (#Giveaway)

As parents, there are all kinds of tips we teach our kids to stay safe, including never get in a car with strangers and don't swim alone.  But have you talked to your kids about one of the most dangerous items that is already in your home?  Garage doors, while necessary, are also a hazard to uninformed and unsupervised kids.

The International Door Association (IDA) has come up with a quick 5 question quiz to test your knowledge on garage doors, and they encourage you to teach your kids these 4 easy rules:

D - Doors are heavy: Never stand, run or play under or near any garage door, especially when the door is open or moving.
O - Openers are for adults: Never play with the button on the wall that opens and closes the garage door.
O - Ouch! Never touch any part of a moving garage door. Your fingers and hands can get hurt!
R - Remotes are for adults: Never play with the remote control in the car or on Mom and Dad’s keychain.
