Disney’s Princess Puppy Palace Pets Magic Dance Pumpkin is a HOT Toy this Year

Is it any surprise that many kids are asking for toys with their favorite character on them? My boys are no different; when you ask them what they want for Christmas, they don't have a particular toy in mind, but rather ask for something with LEGO or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Anything that's licensed by their favorite brands is a win-win this year. In fact, when we visited Santa at our local Walmart today, the first thing that my 4-year-old son Marcus asked for was a licensed toy!

That's why Disney’s Princess Puppy Palace Pets Magic Dance Pumpkin ($49.97 at Walmart) is also a big seller this holiday season.  The Puppy is a softer version of many robots, with fluffy fur attached to a lively interactive dog body, all set for kids to command with the included, light-up "magic wand".  While the puppy is technically a "princess", my kids love anything robotic. I could easily see a boy playing with this toy. The little puppy also talks and dances, and the fashion add-ons (tutu, bow, and tiara) can come off and on for extra activity. [This toy requires four AA and two AAA batteries to operate, not included].

Pumpkin is just one of 20 Toys most Chosen by Kids this year. It's also one of several licenses that are selling fast both online and in-store. Other hot characters include Transformers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel, Barbie, Dora the Explorer, Frozen, and more....

Some of these toys start at a very low price (we picked up a Thor action figure, for example, for less than $8 today!)  There are other ways to save besides low prices, however. Check out their layaway program details to see how you can get the toys you want now -- before they sell out -- and pick them up before the holidays.  You can also use the Savings Catcher app to get the lowest price on toys you buy, or use the Ad Match Guarantee to match any advertised competitor's price on the hottest toys!

What are your kids' favorite characters this holiday season?
