Review of Knut: How One Little Polar Bear Captivated the World

Earth Day has just passed, but many minds and hearts are still on our Earth and the animals that inhabit it. What better way to celebrate the creation of life and the wonder of nature than with the world's most adorable (yes, I mean it) book about Knut, the famous Polar Bear?

This book's most promising feature is the wonderful (almost breathtaking) full-color photos of the tiny polar bear and its care takers. The story is wonderful, as well, but children of all ages (and those who prefer to skip the words) will find the pictures adequate for understanding the captvating tale of the first Polar Bear raised in the Berlin Zoo in over 30 years!

The tiny bear looks so funny with his giant paws (which later remind us of how strong and large a full-grown polar bear can be!) The story is told with sweetness and warmth, and reminds everyone of the importance of treating the animal community with love and respect.

Even if you aren't a hardcore animal lover, you will not be able to resist this book. The hardcover delight by the Hatkoff family and Dr. Uhlich is available at Amazon and other fine book suppliers.
