Review of R.W. Knudsen Family’s Sensible Sippers

10:27 AM

Juice has gotten a bad rap lately. Experts are claiming that overindulging in the sweet drink can provide a daily dose of fruit, but can also contribute to childhood obesity. What's the solution for parents who want to give their kids the nutritional benefits of juice -- but don't want the sugar overload? I think it may be R.W. Knudsen Family's Sensible Sippers!

My kids instantly recognized the Berenstein Bears characters on the front of this juice boxes. With 3 flavors to choose from (apple, mixed berry, tropical and banana), the kids didn't know which one to try first! The flavor of the drinks were sweet like juice, but not too sweet (as they contain 50% certified organic juice and 50% water to reduce calories and sugar.) The kids, however, didn't mind at all.

I like that the juice boxes were small enough for even my 2-year-old to grasp easily. And as a Mom who has been guilty of adding water to all our juice drinks in the past, this nifty solution made my meals and snack times much simpler. 40% less calories without compromising any flavor, this was a hit at our home! (And in the car....)

These drinks are available at a Whole Foods Market near you. For more info on R.W. Knudsen Family’s other products, visit (Sign up at the website to get a $1.oo off your next 8-pack purchase of Sensible Sippers!)
