Walmart Offers Big Savings on Back-to-School Eye Care

My husband, daughter and I all wear glasses, and my daughter and I wear contacts, as well.  Since we don't have eye coverage through my self-employed health plan, we are on the hook for all costs associated with exams and filling prescriptions.  Therefore, it's important that I get the best value in eyecare (not the cheapest, but the best VALUE.)  I want quality lenses and frames, as well as an affordable price.

Thankfully, I tried out the vision center during a recent trip to Walmart, and I was able to get in and out within 45 minutes as a new customer.  My doctor was friendly and fast, and I ordered the contacts that I usually get from the Walmart store, but was able to have them delivered directly to my home via 1800Contacts.  (My other eye center would make me take a special trip to pick them up.)

Reordering is also very easy, as I get email reminders from 1800Contacts when my contact lens supply is running low.  I can order as few or as many boxes as I want, depending on my budget, as well as enjoy free shipping!

I haven't tried them for frames and lenses yet, but based on the info I've received, I'm sure to take my daughter there for her back-to-school pair.  With their sale going on right now, you can get complete pairs starting at just $29 (marked down from $38), and this includes their 12-month guarantee and scratch-resistance.

I know that our eye care isn't something to skimp on, but I really do hate paying full price for anything.  Walmart helps us out by offering the brands we look forward to, at significantly discounted prices.
