Review of Carmex Lime Twist

As part of the Carmex Blog Squad, I received new products from Carmex to try at home. So far, my experience with Carmex has been pretty limited. I remember having a little jar of it in high school that I used sparingly, as the rumors were that using Carmex was “addicting.” Well, as you can see from their website, there is no truth to that rumor, but using it is pretty darn nice. (You may find yourself reaching for it quite often.)

Since I'm a fan of flavored lip balms, it was excellent of Carmex to come out with two new flavors: Lime Twist and Vanilla. I immediately took out the Lime Twist and used it to replace my regular lip balm with sun protection. This tasty moisturizer has an SPF of 15, so I feel good about wearing it in the sun to work in my yard. (My lips burn easily.) I also like that there are additional “premium” moisturizers in this balm that aren't found in the traditional Carmex product line. It is easy to use; just twist it up like a lip balm and smear it on. It's thick, but not too thick, and it covers nicely.

Oh, and the lime flavor is to die for.

You can find out more about both the new Lime Twist flavor and the Vanilla at the official Carmex site.  They are available at Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS!
