Review of Vado Pocket Video Cam by Creative

Whoa, Moms! Have I got a Mother's Day 2009 Gift Guide product for you! If you like taking videos, but aren't game for lugging along a traditional camera (with tripod, strap, yada, yada), then you'll really dig the Vado Pocket Video Cam by Creative.

This clever little camera comes in silver (like mine) or pink. It's super-easy to use. You just aim and push the record button. Zooming in and out is just as simple as pushing arrow buttons, and you can review your video as soon as your finished recording with the full-color LCD screen. It's easy enough for my kids to use, but produces the kind of quality that an adult would boast about.

Up to 2 hours of video can be stored on the little camera, and when you're ready to transfer it, just plug it directly into the USB port on your laptop or PC. The built-in software works instantly, giving you no reason to download any extra software (cause who needs that?) We also LOVE that it recharges when plugged into your computer (or you could switch out the rechargeable battery yourself for a fresh rechargeable -- if you're short on time.)
