Sometimes, our efforts to "fix" something only make it worse. Case in point, in an episode of Season's 2's The Middle (which is my favorite show right now), Sue and Brick bust a hole in the wall. Their attempt to make it better leads to a hilarious account of an even bigger hole. This is the way life is, however... when we don't face problems head on, we tend to make things much more unmanageable.
