I was driving past my local Arby's yesterday, when I saw a sign outside that said "Honk if you love turkey!". It never occurred to me that turkey would be the next new thing on the Arby's menu, but it is apparently really taking off!
Since we often stop into Arby's for the kids meals (which are the best around, in my opinion), this gave me the chance to check out what all this turkey talk was about. In addition to celebrating Arby's rich heritage in freshly slicing meat in their restaurants every day for nearly 50 years, they had one particular sandwich that caught my eye: the Grand Turkey Club. It is made with sliced roast turkey, melted Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a toasted harvest wheat bun. Sound good? It is.
You'll be seeing a lot of changes from the Arby's you may have grown up with, including new commercials, an updated logo, and the new tagline: Slicing Up Freshness. You can check out the buzz on Arby's website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.
