Review of Tervis Tumblers

10:46 PM

Everyone has a favorite coffee mug.  If you travel, you likely have a favorite travel mug, as well.  I have a few that I like more than others, based on their size, how they seal, and the way that they fit into my car's cupholder.

When I tried a new Tervis Tumbler this past month, I was able to pick a design of my choice.  I knew immediately that I wanted this Charlie Brown design:

This particular tumbler was the "wave" design.  It had (as you can see) actual ripples and waves going through the mug.  This not only made it look cool, but it kept it easy to hold on to.  (Especially when I wear gloves due to cold weather!)

The mouth on the mug opened easily (maybe a bit too easily), but was great for getting just the right amount of really hot coffee out.  I can't tell you how many times I've burnt my mouth on coffee that came streaming out of mugs with much wider drinking spouts.  This model of tumbler is also easy to clean.  You don't need any special brushes to get into all the nooks and crannies -- it's a straightforward travel mug that does its job and holds up to most normal wear and tear.
