Review of Citrus Lane Subscription Service

It seems like there is no shortage of monthly subscription "box" services out there today.  When I was first approached to try a sample box from Citrus Lane, I wondered how it could differentiate itself from some of the others I had reviewed.  What made this service different, however, was that it was all for my child, and it didn't involve me doing anything.  (Which was essential; I was already overwhelmed with a few craft and activity services).

I gave my son's stage and age, and I soon received my box!  What was inside?  A whole lot of cute.  There was a high-quality wooden toy, a book, a bath sponge that looked like a frog, a bib, and snacks for my little one.  He was over the moon for every item in the box (except for the bib -- but I loved that.)  I was happy to see a few products that were made right here in the USA in the box, as well!

Too many boxes on the market feel like a cheap goodie bag designed to promote up-and-coming brands.  This actually felt like my son was receiving a thoughtful gift.  At a price of $21 - 25 a month (depending on the length of the service) plus free shipping, it's the gift that gives every month, with no unwanted junk left in your home when you're done.  I loved every single item in my box, and -- looking at the site -- I can see that this is typical for Citrus Lane.

If promotional items and itty-bitty samples are NOT your thing, you should look into Citrus Lane.  With full-size, thoughtful, and age-appropriate items that feel like a birthday every month, you and your child will not be disappointed!
