My kids love VeggieTales movies; they are funny, teach great lessons, and are safe for the whole family to watch. We recently received a copy of MacLarry & the Stinky Cheese Battle to review, and we sat down one evening with everyone to watch it!
First of all, this video is hilarious. The kids didn't get all of the jokes, as the style of VeggieTales is to entertain both kids and adults. There is never anything inappropriate in the video, however, as all of the cultural references that made my hubby and I giggle (like a reference to frosted tips for a hair style) were G-rated.
Secondly, the lesson presented was Biblically-based but not overly "Sunday school." Anyone could watch it and appreciate the lesson in getting along with others and forgiving past histories of conflict.
