Review of Ella's Kitchen Products for Babies &Toddlers

As you know, my son (who is 3) loves any food from a squeezy pouch.  Our first experience with this type of product was when we tried an Ella's Kitchen Smoothie years ago.  He still loves this variety the best, but we were recently able to try a few other products from the kid-friendly company, as well.

Here is Marcus, enjoying a late-night snack.  He sometimes gets hungry right before bed, and he asks for sweets.  Since we don't want to load him up on sugar late in the evening, the Ella's Kitchen Nibbly Fingers (made with bananas, raisins, and other good stuff) make a good option.  He nibbles these while he settles down for a cuddle.  He can then brush his teeth and go to bed!

As a nursing mom, I admit to liking Ella's for my own snacks.  It's sometimes a pain to get up, wash and cut a piece of fruit, and eat it between the busy demands of caring for the new baby.  I keep a few Ella's Kitchen pouches at my side-table near my recliner so that I can down a serving of fruit effortlessly while nursing.

One other perk of the Ella's line is that it helps my children develop their taste.  My son, for example, is ten and has never had a really good fresh mango.  (The few we've tried from the stores here in Nebraska weren't anything to write home about.)  Having a pouch of mango fruit, however, gives him a better representation of what mango should taste like; and it helps him keep his tastes varied, as well!

Ella's is continually developing new flavors and ways to eat better.  Learn more about what they have available at their website, Twitter, and Facebook!
