For as long as I can remember, I have either been nursing or pregnant. Like most moms, that means that I have a "normal" wardrobe, a "maternity" wardrobe, and a "nursing" wardrobe. This is a lot to store, and can cost a fortune!!
One of my favorite nursing bra companies -- Leading Lady -- has added to their already pretty lovely (and very affordable) Loving Moments line of nursing wear with the "Maternity to Nursing" Collection. These items are great for picking up when you're pregnant, and they can still fit long after the baby is born.
The item I tried, the Sports Bra, is one of the most functional and flattering of the line. It is all kinds of stylish, with pretty sheer material around the neck and back, white trim, and a smoothing fit. It's supportive, meaning I can go for walks or work around the house without feeling uncomfortable. If I was in any way athletic at 6-weeks postpartum from a c-section, I'm guessing it would fit the bill.
The one feature that I love the BEST, however, is the one-handed closure snaps for the nursing panels on the front of the bra. So many bras say that they feature one-handed snaps, but they are NOT! I can't tell you how many times I struggle with these other bras because they are so hard to snap shut. I end up either not snapping them or having to set the baby down to do so. (The Sports Bra snaps close better than even previous items from the Loving Moments collection!)
There is only one thing about the bra that I am a little iffy on. The cute trim digs into my shoulders a bit. I'm not sure if it's because I need a bigger bra, but everything else on it fits fine. I'm hoping that with a good washing, it will stretch out a bit.
