Review of Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus Spray

11:33 PM

You know how there are those people who pack for a trip by rolling up their clothes into tiny little rolls and put them neatly side-by-wide inside their suitcase, taking so much time to do so, but coming out with wrinkle-less laundry when they arrive to their destination?

I'm not one of those people.

So, you can imagine that I get a bit flustered when I find myself spending so much time ironing my items on every trip with the hotel clothes iron, or I even resort to hanging my clothes up in the bathroom when shower to "steam" them.

Even at home, with clothes that need ironed, I'm more likely to toss them into the dryer for a tumble-dry cycle than actually pulling out the iron.  Some clothes aren't even safe to iron!

That's why, when I got a box of the new Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus Spray in the mail, I got a little bit excited.  I don't really iron.  But what if I could go without actually ironing -- at all?

Included in the box was a "pre-wrinkled" cotton t-shirt.  It had been all crumpled up for some time, and was embarrassingly wrinkled.  I layed it flat, gave it a little spritz, and hung it up.  Less than 5 minutes later, I came back to a very smooth shirt.  (See the before on the left and the after on the right.)

Not only does this product work well on wrinkles, it smells amazing.  It's like a fabric "refresher" with the added bonus of smoothing out your clothes.  Some of the very wrinkled items in my closet became 80% wrinkle-free just by spraying them while they were still on the hanger.  With a little "smoothing" by hand, they were actually just as smooth as when I use an iron (without any scorch marks!)

If you're sick of ironing slightly wrinkled items, this product may help make your life easier.  You can learn more at the official website (and snag a coupon while you're there!)
