2 Easy Recipes for Holiday Entertaining

Christmas and the New Year are both full of opportunities to get together with friends, laugh, and eat food! Appetizers and desserts are my favorite things to eat during the season. Here are few recipes you can easily make for your family and friends.

1. Lasagna Cups

These are now officially, not only my favorite crowd-pleasing mini-meal, but they are my family's favorite way to eat pasta.  To create these beautiful and easy-to-eat apps, you'll need nothing more than a Party Size Stouffer's Lasagna, a package of wonton wrappers, and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Start by warming up the lasagna tray in the oven according to the directions.  After it's warmed through, let it site for a few minutes before cutting one third of it up into small squares.  Then, continue by greasing the cups of a muffin tin and lining them each with one wonton wrapper.

Bake the wrapper in a 350 degree oven for about 6 minutes.  Take out.  Place a small square of the lasagna on top of the wrapper, making sure to press it down into the bottom.

Layer another wonton wrapper on top, and then another layer of lasagna.  Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from the pan, and serve!

2. Peppermint Sandwiches.

These are so simple, and delicious, too! Kids can help make these little treats that consist of Vanilla Wafers with Hershey's Spreads between them. (We like the hazelnut variety).

Roll the sandwiches in crushed up peppermint candies!

These recipes are so easy, you won't believe how much time they save. Be sure to check out our other holiday recipes to help impress guests and give you the best of the season.
