Keep Big Family's Belongings Safe at Camp with Mabel's Labels9:57 PM
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Mabel’s Labels. I received a voucher to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I have known about the Mabel's Labels products for years, as they are well-known in the blogosphere. I always mistakenly thought, however, that they weren't a practical solution for big families. I simply could not swing getting a custom label pack for each of my 4 camp-age kids, and I wasn't sure we could order them in time to make use of them each camp season. It turns out that I was wrong on both counts; Mabel's Labels have proven to be perfect for my family!
We were given a code to order and try the Limited Edition Camp Label Pack, which comes with all the labels you need for most kids' camps. We placed the order online, and within a week, we were looking at our new, personalized labels!
The labels arrived in great shape, and contained the following:
- 10 Personalized Name Stickers: 70mm x 16mm (2-3/4" x 5/8")
- 24 Mini Custom Name Stickers: 38mm x 8mm (1-1/2" x 5/16")
- 8 Custom Shoe Stickers: 33mm (1.3")
- 50 Tag Mates™ Stick On Clothing Labels: 21mm x 10mm (13/16" x 3/8")
- 2 Personalized Bag Tags: 57mm x 32mm (2-1/4" x 1-1/4")
We ordered the labels with one name "KNERL". This way all the boys could use them. We were also aware that the clothing labels (TagMates) can last on the tags of the clothing for a very long time, and -- since we hand clothes down often -- this seemed to work best for our family. We realistically could have ordered two more packs and it would have been more than enough for our boys attending camp this year.
I love the cool graphics; we went with the skull theme and a black/red background. You can also choose different fonts or all caps. We went right to work putting the labels on all the things the boys will take camp, like the tags on their shirts and pants:
The inside of their shoes:
Their backpacks, toiletries, and books/Bibles.
I have to admit that having these labels had put my mind at ease that our things will all come home this summer. And, if for some reason they don't, the camp lost and found should have no problem letting us know about any left-behind items. With a unique name like "Knerl", I'm pretty sure they will know who it belongs to!
My sons are so excited for camp; it's my 8 and 10-year-old boys' first year attending. Matthias can't be more thrilled to go to camp with all of his things clearly labeled. (He's organized like that.)
