We get so many deliveries to our house these days, that we cannot neglect giving gifts to our Fedex, UPS, and USPS drivers. My daughter likes to make these simple holiday candies to bag up and give as gifts. They take no time and all, look adorable, and are so delicious!
To create them, simply place an unwrapped Rolo candy in the middle of a circle pretzel (which you can usually find around the holidays). Bake on a parchment-lined cookie sheet for 300 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Check them periodically -- they burn easily! When the Rolo is mushy (soft, but not melted), take them out.
Set the sheet on a hot pad on the counter or table, and immediately push down an M&M candy into the center of each Rolo. Allow to cool completely before eating or gifting!
A yummy adaptation of this is to put a pecan in the middle instead of an M&M. Instant Turtle Candy to give to family and friends this holiday.
