My kids had one goal last week: Rewatch seasons one and two of Star Wars Rebels so that we can binge watch season three! The high-octane, action-packed, and very well-written series that my whole family enjoys is now here. We were excited to get a review copy of Star Wars Rebels: Complete Season Three on Blu-Ray to watch together.
The critically-acclaimed series goes deep into the Star Wars 22 episodes of the hit CG animated series, as well as never-before-seen bonus material. Star Wars fans will love that it draws from the storylines of The Clone Wars, Rogue One and the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as introduces new characters and drama.
In this new series, we see that the Ghost crew, now led by a more powerful Ezra, strengthens the Rebel fleet by acquiring new resources and recruits eager to stand against the Empire. However, the Imperial efforts to eliminate the Rebellion are now being led by the coldly analytical Grand Admiral Thrawn, whose strategic, tactical and cultural insights make him a threat unlike any they have faced before. Ezra and Sabine must take on new roles and challenges as the Rebels prepare for their biggest mission yet – a direct assault on the Empire.
The series features the amazing voice cast of Freddie Prinze Jr. Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, Dee Bradley Baker, and David Oyelowo. If you watch a lot of animated TV, you'll probably recognize many of them.
I would highly recommend the Blu-ray version. In addition to the amazing look of the series, it offers the following bonus features:
