First Father's Day with Baby: What Would You Buy?

It isn't officially our "first" Father's Day with our 5th child Marcus.  He technically turned one on the 11th, but since I was just getting out of the hospital with him during last year's celebration (and things were quite chaotic), we figured this year could be the first one we celebrate with him around.

Walmart was our destination to pick up a few "Baby's First Father's Day" gifts, and since my hubby is such a sports fan -- specifically college football -- we were happy to see so many product choices with our local team, The Huskers!

We decided to pick out something that told Dad that he has a new little teammate to help him cheer at this year's games, and we grabbed a onesie with the team logo on it for less than $12! We also intended to get a few pics of Marcus in his new onesie to upload into a photo card from Walmart.com.  At first, he was anything but happy with our photo shoot:

But he quickly regained his composure after a snack and some tickling:

In addition to the baby's gear, we also planned to gift the Father of our family with some neat Huskers gear for him to wear.  Walmart had some neat athletic tees and a cool belt with buckle for under $25!  My sons had a great time picking out items from the large selection at our local store.

Is your Dad a sports fan?  Do you have a little fan-in-training that will be celebrating his first Father's Day?  We'd love to hear about your team picks and the gifts you buy for Dad this year!
