My youngest is 2 now, which means he is really into The Wiggles. While the Wiggles have changed a bit since we first started watching 10 years ago, their exciting dancing and singing style has not.
We reviewed the newest DVD offering from the fun children's entertainers, The Wiggles Big Birthday! This DVD has all the favorite characters my son loves: Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and Dorothy the Dinosaur - plus, it has a mix of both classic favorites and new songs that my son hasn't heard before. They are performed in a live concert style, just like the tour! My favorite part of the DVD, however, is the bonus feature, a one-hour documentary called “Everybody Clap! Everybody Sing!” which covers The Wiggles’ first 20 years. (I didn't even know they've been around that long!)
If your kid is a Wiggles fan, this DVD falls right in line with the values and style of their other DVD's. I can imagine it being a fun experience for a little one to watch on their actual birthday!
