My youngest son is 2 and a half, and he is still not trying to potty train. (Actually he is interested, but he hasn't had any "success" yet.) I am a bit surprised by this, mostly because his brothers were so eager to get started (one actually was going at 18 months!) I worry that part of his delay is that he's the baby; he really does get spoiled, and I know that I need to be more consistent about having him try to go.
I am excited to share that I'm taking part in the Pull-Ups “First Flush” Ambassador Program, and I will have the chance to share my trials (and, hopefully, triumphs) with getting Marcus towards his “First Flush”. I think that if I can remember that every child is different, motivate him in a way this is unique to him, and keep trying every day, we could see our first victory very soon!
We will also be hosting a “Why Wait – Let’s Celebrate! First Flush Party” for our friends and their children. My little guy loves Caillou, so I think that we could tie in a Caillou theme to help encourage and reward him for his efforts.
You can also sign up to host your own party! If you have a little one in the potty training stage, just visit the Pull-Ups Facebook Tab through the end of this month and get your info in! If chosen to host a party, you can receive:
- Engaging activities to get tots excited about starting potty training
- Celebration party hats and noisemakers
- Exclusive Pull-Ups® Potty Training Fun Celebration App sticker
- Pull-Ups® Training Pants for every Big Kid® at the party
- Pull-Ups® coupon books
- And more!
Stay tuned....
*I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to host a party. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
