Review of the Bear Grylls Gerber Survival Compact Scout Knife

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

My husband uses knives all the time here on the farm.  When I'm doing his laundry, I find a pocket or utility knife in his pocket each and every time.  Usually, I can set it on top of the washer, and he won't notice it's gone because he has a score of knives.  When we received the Bear Grylls Gerber Survival Compact Scout Knife, however, he has asked for it every day!

This is now my husband's favorite compact knife.  He uses it to cut, score, and dig around things.  It's small, just 3.6"  To be honest, when I saw it, I thought it was too small to do anything.  He loves the 1/2 Serrated high carbon stainless steel drop point blade, which is ideal for edge retention and cutting rope.  He likes that it isn't bulky, fits inside his inside pants pocket and cleans up easily, too.

Since I don't know much about knives, I can't say much more, except that when asked about it, he got very excited for how handy this product is.  If you have an outdoors guy, or someone who just needs to have a sharp knife in a pinch, this is definitely a nice little blade to have handy.

You can get it at Swords of the East!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
