There was a double-breasted wool coat that I absolutely loved, and years ago, I left it in an airport bathroom for just a minute. But I never saw it again. I have since searched high and low for a similar coat, even ordering one or two online and returning it after finding out that it didn't fit or flatter in the same way.
Then, I attended a holiday clothing preview for Walmart in October and there was this adorable black jacket that looked so much like my old fave! I tried it on and fell in love again. And the price was something I just couldn't get over.
You see, my original jacket was over $120 retail. And I felt like it was worth every penny. So it blew my mind that this Faded Glory Women's Double-Breasted Faux Wool Peacoat with Hood (with the same level of detail, a slim fit, and very warm material) could be found at my local Walmart for just $39.96!
I have been so happy with this peacoat, because it's nice enough to wear when I want to really dress up for an evening out (I just remove the hood). It's also appropriate to wear outside playing with the kids. So far, it wipes clean very easily, too. I really appreciate how well-lined it is, as well!
The style I chose was black, but it also comes in 7 other colors, including purple plaid, charcoal, and heather grey!
