Anything Goes Gooey Dessert Bars

It's that time of year, when I'm wanting to organize and do something with those odds and ends items in my pantry and cupboards. Most of the things I use up are for meals, but there are those occasional dessert ingredients that need a good recipe to make them work.

This recipe makes perfect use of all those baking misfits, and it's super delicious, too!

You'll need:

  • 1 graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 cup any kind of chip (I used butterscotch). Spread on the bottom of the crust.
  • 1 cup any nut (I used pecan). Add next.
  • Feel free to add shredded coconut (I used 1/2 cup), or any other sweet baking component you think would work well.
  • Top it all off with 1/2 can of Eagle Sweetened Condensed Milk.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool completely (it's so hard to wait). Then allow to cool a few minutes more. Cut into squares, or do like I do and give everyone a spoon. These bars are gone so quickly you really don't have the chance to cut them nicely. They are a dream with a hot cup of coffee!

Our Anything Goes Gooey Dessert Bars use Sweetened Condensed Milk, nuts, chips, and a graham cracker crust to use up your pantry staples and create a dreamy dessert!
