It's that time of year, when I'm wanting to organize and do something with those odds and ends items in my pantry and cupboards. Most of the things I use up are for meals, but there are those occasional dessert ingredients that need a good recipe to make them work.
This recipe makes perfect use of all those baking misfits, and it's super delicious, too!
You'll need:
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
- 1 cup any kind of chip (I used butterscotch). Spread on the bottom of the crust.
- 1 cup any nut (I used pecan). Add next.
- Feel free to add shredded coconut (I used 1/2 cup), or any other sweet baking component you think would work well.
- Top it all off with 1/2 can of Eagle Sweetened Condensed Milk.
Allow to cool completely (it's so hard to wait). Then allow to cool a few minutes more. Cut into squares, or do like I do and give everyone a spoon. These bars are gone so quickly you really don't have the chance to cut them nicely. They are a dream with a hot cup of coffee!
(*Thanks to Eagle for sharing some samples with us. Opinions are our own!)
